The Red Fox Diner has been a tradition in Lighthouse Point, Florida for over 40 years. We're located in the Venetian Isles Plaza at the corner of Federal Highway and Sample Road. We're open 7 days per week for breakfast and lunch; and dinners Monday thru Friday. We deliver to local addresses - Breakfast & Lunch - Monday thru Friday only (7:30 am to 2 pm). We have a $10 minimum order for deliveries.
Our menu features creative salads, home-made soups and salad dressings. All of our food is fresh & made on site. Our ground beef is never frozen and we offer fresh bagels every day! We offer lunch specials Monday thru Saturday which include ice tea or coffee, soup or salad, entree and dessert - all for under $10.00
Weekend's are special at the Red Fox. In addition to our regular breakfast menu, we offer 4 specials that change weekly including Biscuits & Sausage Gravy, a creative Omelette (ie: Blue Crab Omelette), an unusual Pancake or French Toast Creation (ie: Caribbean French Toast), and a healthy Whole Wheat Wrap.
We offer a great Early Bird Special. Prices range from $12.50 to $14.50 for a complete dinner including: Soup or Salad, Entree, Tea or Coffee & Dessert. For light eaters that want to share, we charge $6.00 and your companion will get their own soup or salad, drink and dessert. The Early Bird specials are available weekdays from 3 pm to 5:30 pm.

To quote the Dining Finds of the South Florida Sun-Sentinel (August 2, 2007)...............................
“They’ve been serving homemade food here for the past 41 years. That’s how long they’ve been hand-packing one of my favorite reasons to come here – the half pound burger made with fresh, never frozen, ground meat. In the decade or so that I’ve been chowing down on them, the Lighthouse Point burger ($8.95) has always impressed me.
It includes a juicy, well-seasoned patty heaped with sautéed fresh mushrooms and onions, two strips of crisp, lean bacon and plenty of melted cheddar on a big, fluffy cornmeal-dusted Kaiser roll.
Order it medium, like I do, and that’s exactly how it comes. The burger is all the more pleasurable with a choice of sides. As much as I love French fries, I know the potato salad is great with big chunks of red skin potatoes in a creamy dressing that doesn’t taste like mayonnaise overkill and is mildly sweet. Portions are big and prices fair.”
